For a moment, the focus wasn’t on what anyone could not do. It was on the game, the excitement of participation, the joy of being part of something, and the confidence that came with simply showing up.

That is the kind of society I hope we continue to build — one where children and adults with disabilities are not spectators in their own communities, but active participants in the spaces around them.
