My Courtesy Visit to the Vietnamese Ambassador
It was an honour to pay a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Bui Quoc Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where I was formally introduced ahead of the 73rd Miss World Pageant in Vietnam.
As a token of appreciation, I presented His Excellency with a Special Appreciation Award in recognition of his distinguished diplomatic service and his commitment to strengthening the relationship between Nigeria and Vietnam.
A Productive Conversation
Our discussion was both productive and forward-looking. We covered my preparations for Vietnam, including:
- Facilitation of visa arrangements for my team and me
- Introductions to strategic members of the Nigerian community in Vietnam
- Guidance to ensure a smooth and memorable stay throughout the competition
Beyond the pageant itself, we also explored opportunities for cultural exchange and business collaboration between our two countries — recognising the many similarities in our cultures and shared values.
A Warm Send-Off
His Excellency warmly congratulated me on emerging as Miss World Nigeria 2026, wished me success at the Miss World Pageant, and encouraged me to take time to experience the beauty, culture, and traditions of Vietnam.
I left the meeting encouraged by his generosity, counsel, and genuine commitment to this journey.
